Hi Everyone!
So I may be right in thinking that I'm a little late on the band wagon in trying a mascara that has been talked about for what seems like ages, but in reality probably isn't too long! I've decided to give my opinion on the Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama in the hope that it helps some of you decide whether this mascara is or isn't for you.
The Falsies hasn't come out in New Zealand yet but I was recently in Europe where I luckily managed to pick one up from Superdrug. First of all the packaging instantly attracts me! It's a gorgeous reddish pink with a band of black in the middle and just looks so girly and appealing. I got the mascara in the shade Very Black but I'm pretty sure it comes in a couple of others as well, however Very Black was the only shade available at the particular store I went too.
At the moment it seems that most mascaras don't have a wand that I'd describe as normal. (Meaning a straight wand), so I was therefore quite surprised to find that The Falsies Push Up Drama has a simple wand with no curves or bulges. It is described as having 'Cup Shaped Bristles', which are pretty much just short synthetic bristles. I actually find this wand extremely effective in separating my lashes and giving them a good amount of volume.
Overall I find The Falsies Push Up Drama as being a very affordable, practical and gorgeous mascara that is extremely effective in separating and lengthening my eye lashes. I'd highly recommend this to anyone interested in testing out a new mascara and not wanting to spend a fortune.
Please tell me below what your favourite drugstore mascaras are and I'll definitely take those into consideration when I'm ready to move on from The Falsies.
